Life just is. It has no intrinsic, or built in meaning of it's own.
All the meaning that life will ever have is the meaning that you give to it.

I derive meaning from life from loving God and my fellow man. We were put on this earth to serve others. We are not islands living only for ourselves.

Drink red wine. Thats it. Oh, and you are judged by the quality of the red wine you like. Drink muscatel and you are doomed. Drink a good Pinot, you are in good shape. This is obvious. Jesus turned water into wine. Right?

I noticed a common theme for those who weren't making fun of your question and they are all right.. It can be summed up in one word however.. That is LOVE.. Love for God, neighbor and self..

to multiply and help your neighbors and serve God. Your not His slave or anything you serve Him by loving Him and your borthers. to live well is also a meaning of life.
