I just want to take this opportunity to warn you young people about the dangers of using OTC medications to get high. I know a young person who took Coricidin HBP tablets, a lot of them, and ended up on a psychiatric unit for over a month. She had Jesus under the bed, the TV was talking to her, even when it wasn't on, she saw the clown from the movie "It" by Stephen King and saw snakes crawling on her ceiling. She didn't sleep for a week, and it took 30 mg of Haldol a day IM to calm her down so that she could sleep. She tore down the bulletin board that was bolted to the
wall and destroyed the electric hospital bed in her room so that she had to sleep on just a mattress on the floor for two weeks.

My point is just because you can buy something without a prescription doesn't mean it is harmless. An overdose of Tylenol will kill you by destroying your liver. I've seen that happen to a toddler who accidentally drank a bottle of the liquid.

Wake up and quit f**king up your lives.

Hmm people here don't seem to know what they're talking about. DXM & diphenhydramine are the only 2 OTC's that really do anything. I've also heard of benzedrex inhalers being like speed, but I've never done that. DXM is in cough medicines and DPH is in Benadryl and OTC sleep aids. No, they are not really comparable to any illegal drugs, they're unique.

Oh and if you're thinking about trying them, make sure you research them a little so you don't get the wrong thing and end up in the hospital and/or dying.

Well, since you are clearly not smart enough to avoid drugs, let me spell it out for you:

Drugs that will get you high are illegal. That's why they make them illegal. Some OTC drugs have alcohol in them. It's cheaper and more effective to go buy a bottle of vodka than to chug NyQuil.

Why don't you spend your energy on something productive?
