i eatwhen im not hungry
and if i am hungry and i wait for like 10 minutes im not anymore my friend never ate anything but like a banana for a week and he lost 40 pounds if i quit eating when im not hungry will i loose weight??
no stupid answers please

dont listen to some of these people. if your not hungry do not eat, but when you feel hungry, eat right away so that you dont lose your hunger.

One of the biggest challenges with dieting it the eating for entertainment- try not to eat when you're not hungry, and you probably will lose some wait. A tip is to chew gum to prevent craving or eating fruit or something else low calorie if you have to snack some. But it isn't healthy to completely stop eating. There is a difference to losing weight and being healthy, however. You can lose a lot of weight on the only a banana for a week diet but it won't make you healthier. Stick to a regular three meal a day diet of relatively healthy food and if you exercise you will most likely lose some weight.

After about the first week to 10 days off of food, it is not uncommon to lose your sense of hunger.
Hunger can also be lost when a person is depressed, or when taking certain medications, and other possible physical reasons.

Exercise along with eating enough nutrition to be healthy is a much better choice to losing weight !!!

After an intense time in my life - I was unable to swallow food - My stress level was off the charts - and my hunger left me.
It was a serious health problem - and learning to eat again - has taken years to regain the ability to feel hunger and to feed my body properly.

If somebody is merely wanting to lose weight, don't just stop eating. You are not helping your body, you are doing harm to your body and emotions.

The body needs certain daily calories in order for it to work properly...not eating is not healthy and even in some people have a reverse effect in where they gain weight instead of loosing it...it's not dat you need to stop eating in order to loose weight just eat healthy like when your are not that hungry eat some fruit like every 2 hrs or maybe crackers or cereal...not eating at all is just dangerous (or just eating a banana)...good luck

If you wanna suffer from anorexia for the rest of your life then dont eat... And no, anorexia never goes away, you never get better from it, you may gain the wieght back but you will always have the disease of looking in the mirror and seeing a fat person... Trust me, you dont wanna become anorexic, its not fun... It ruins your life and no one understands because they dont understand why you cant just eat...

I would suggest you make an appointment and talk to a medical doctor. If you are young, you are missing out on important nutrition your body needs. You may be OK now, but it will come back to haunt you as you age. Don't mess with your health.
