Speak with your school counselor and explain your problem. A good counselor can make recommendations which might help you in with your testophobia.
You might just want to make flash cards and have a friend or family member quiz you repeatedly until you are confident with the answers. Then you willl answer your tests with positive reactions instead thinking and tensing up and bringing on the cold sweats.
Good Luck!

True, tests can be scary, my question to you is are you prepared. Do you study and know the work, if not, try hitting the books, that could solve the problem, is the work to hard, there's no shame in getting help, if you don't understand something ask, remember there are no stupid questions.
Most teachers don't like giving tests any more than you like taking them, remember they have to grade them. Teachers for the most part follow a curriculum, and have to test. I'm not a teacher, but I do know how hard most of them work.
Try to relax the day of the test you can do this at home or if you have time before a test go to the bathroom, whether you have to or not just sit down close your eyes and breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth, do this 5 to 10 times, this should help calm you. Good Luck

I am a teacher who never gave a test to torture anyone, for sure. The teacher should have gone over the info that relates to what will be on the test. The reading the teacher gives should fill your brain with answers for the testing. If you study for your tests, take good notes, and feel you are really READY to take a test............the tests will not be so freaky for you. Do you have a study partner? Can one of your parents ask you questions that you think will be on the test? Sometimes, answering outloud helps you to remember the facts you have learned. The teacher has to grade you, some how...........and the easiest way for the teacher to do that is to test the class. Remember, teachers are not singling you out when tests are given. You really need to UP your self confidence for tests, and the only way I know to do that is to really feel ready for tests. Do the reading, take notes, practice answering answers at home or with a friend. Get your confidence up so you do not freak when you hear the word.............TEST. Good luck.............you will relax more when you believe you are more prepared for tests, trust me.

hehe....Your funny! Yeah you definitely have to take the time to study...I feel the same way when a test comes..I stress out like it helps..haha! well at least you can be apart of the human club..It happens..In order to feel NOT stressed out or confident about a "TEST" it would help to study being prepared will help you answer without doubt,I guess it's better to assume you know then to know you don't know..haha!
NOT knowing can be STRESSSSSSSS....
You can dodge any class you want no one cares if you don't
it's your grade..go ahead ditch and dodge RIP and run..who cares in the end it's your grade..haha! Avoid the teacher..More like yourself...haha! Oh thee advantage to blame others sure helps. Maybe seeing others worse off helps us maybe not..Oh-la-la but in thee end it is when we realize we can't pretend....FEAR <-----WHAT....NO FEAR

hey dude, relax... don;t let yourself in a test-phobia. you've gotta have a lot more tests do in the future and these are not given by teachers and it also involves mmany mental calisthenics.
why not just change the attitude of panic to attitude of an-opportunity-to show-to-your-teacher-that-you're-bright?
it would help also if you scan and read your lesson even if there's no test yet. and if their are topics not understood, why not try a chat with your teacher. be friends with them. they are not giving tests to turture but to practice the mind and prepare it for challebges that the real world will later have to offer.

well dear...test phobia, is another way to dodge reality, and at the end, is another kind of insecurity that must be overcome with proper advise....Talk to your school counselor,,,,If test fobia is so intense. it wil start to interfere with your general performance, and you are much smarter than that....Do not let a fobia to make you waste your efforts, and fail subjects....if that fobia is so intense and disabling, a proper consultation with a certified psychologist, will be of a lot of help...much of the fears that we all have about exams, are most of the times, treated succesfully by qualified persons.
Remember, the degree of difficulty of your test, is no different than that of your classmates...You are not one Iota less of what they are...(you can be intelligent and smart too)..

Mental torture. Physical abuse can heal over time but mental abuse can be a life long thing. Mental torture is also more invasive in everyday life.
