I am depressed frequently and it interferes with my daily routines. I switch between immensely depressed, contentment, and extreme happiness rapidly. I don't feel the need for sleep, or I can't bring myself out of bed. I am full of energy, or worn. I have no self control and cry almost daily. Please help me.

And I also feel like everyone I meet is laughing at me or talking about me. It's not a month to month or day to day thing. It's more of a hour to hour thing.

I think you should definately see someone about it. Most people who are bipolar only have a few manic(Happpy) or depressive episodes a year. Some have four or more(rapid cycling), but not usually every other hour. There is also cyclothymic disorder, which is moderate but frequent mood swings for two years or longer. The mood swings are not severe enough to qualify as bipolar. Usually with cyclothymic you are extremely moody, unpredictable, and inconsistent. If you are truly bipolar then you would probably need to be hospitalized during manic episodes to protect yourself and others from your innappropriate decisions and behavior. I read that most people are hospitalized when they are manic. I learned all of this in my Psychology class in college. It is too hard though to diagnose you, because I am not a psychologist. You should see someone, it could be anything. Hope this helps.

See http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 2: depression/bipolar disorder: read both: follow links to self test. It may well be bipolar disorder, plus some other condition, but requires expert diagnosis, so ask for a referral from your doctor

While it's possible that you have bipolar disorder, your age has a lot to do with it. Almost all teenagers have bipolar to an extent.
It may also be stress regardless of your age. Your doctor should be able to tell you for sure.

Go to webmd.com i think you can take a test there, after reading the results, you can find a dr in your area and see if they accept your insurance . Some mental health doctors also go on a sliding scale depending on your income , if that is an issue.,

Go to the Doctor! Don't waste time trying to figure what it might be for yourself...get the professional to say what it is...and then act upon that. You are wasting time...guessing.

And if it is bi-polar....don't assume the worst case scenario. You can live a decent life if you take care of yourself.

Could be many other things besides bypolar. There are many many medical and hormonal issues which can cause the same symptoms.

Your thyroid for example.

I would definately explain EXACTLY what you said to your doctor, and get their opinion.

The best thing is to go to a doctor to determine that because he will see you face to face. The doctor will know what questions to ask to make this determination.

You need a Dr to tell you if you are bipolar. sounds like you may suffer from depression. People who are bipolar often are paranoid.
