I know this may sound weird, but I try very hard not to make a huge deal out of God, and religion in my home. With my mother an italian catholic and my father jewish, it was hard as a kid. I will let my children choose when theyre ready, but for now, and to keep things neutral, we say this prayer:
"Down I lay my head tonight, my angels watch me through the night. May our new day bless the ones I love, and have my angel send me a dove. Amen."
When we see morning doves, my children truly believe they are gifts from heaven.
