My bf and I have been together for 3 years.For some reason he now prefers to "secretely" masterbate more than have sex.
Why is that?
Ps I know it cant be looks,lol and we're both 18 and 20.

sometimes the hand feels better then the real thing.
3 yrs...those hormones level off at about this time...
he is still attracted to you but it's not like it was at first.

prob why he is maturbating more, it feels good and he dosent' have to bother you
besides if he is tired, maybe he rather be selfish and pleasure himself then do any work.

Your sex life is lacking something and since he isnt getting it from you either bc you wont or because he was unwilling to tell you and give you a chance to satisfy this, he can ,masterbate and fantasize about whatever it is that he's secretly fantasizing about. But even so, a young persob like that would still want real sex. Try something new and spontaneus or tell him one of your fantasies and thatll *hopefully* open the door so he'll share his (ask him) and see if it cant be worked out and see if that helps.

He might have some secret fantasy that he can only indulge through masturbation. If his solo activities are actually taking the place of actual sex, it's time to have a conversation with him.

It could be a lot of things. It isn't unusual to do both, but to abstain from sex so that he could do it alone is kind of weird. He could be gay, maybe you don't do it for him, maybe he's warming up for the big event (you last longer during sex if you've recently had an orgasm.) I would just ask him, though, you won't get anything but guesses from us.

Are you a selfish or demanding lover? Or do you take a very long time to finish? I'm guessing that he just wants to get off and it's less hassle to go to the bathroom and do it himself.

A bit hard to tell but solitary sex is easy, fast, and there are never any questions or recriminations (such as "I didn't get mine" or . . .). Too bad you can't ask him. You could ask him if you could "do" it for him.
