this morning i woke up and i was fine. then i put in my contacts and my left eye was a little blurry. after awhile everything looked kinda cloudy and washed out (only in the left eye) it started hurting so i took out the contact and threw it away. after that eyes started watering real bad and hurt for awhile, especially when i tried to wash it. i freaked out and figured i should rest my eyes. i took a two hour nap and when i woke up my eyes were fine except everything out of my red i looked a bit warmer (redder) then out of my left. after a little bit that stopped to. then after awhile everything looked warmer out of my right! then that went away. then i put in a fresh pair of contacts and havent had any issue since? whats going on?

It could be an infection or allergy but to be sure you need to have this evaluated by your ophthalmologist or optometrist to see what they think could be going on.

Maybe something was on your contacts that irritated your eyes or something was on your hands when you touched your contacts. It doesn't sound like you are going blind at all... it may have just been your contacts. Another possibility is that the contacts were too old, too dry, or they weren't properly clean of the proteins that get on them from normal eyewear. Just keep a lookout for happens to your eyes in the next couple of days... if it happens again go to your optometrist or doctor.

Sometimes those contacts can hold germs that can effect your vision. I just had a problem with my right eye and its a horrible feeling. just make sure you wash your hands really good and dont let anyone else touch them.
