We don't know exactly how God did it. Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit..not the normal way that people are born. So that he would be sinless. So that he would be All God and yet human too. That way he could carry the sin of humanity on his body.

"Begotten doesn't really mean born. It means more to produce, or procreate. God did not reproduce Jesus asexually, He knit Jesus into Mary's womb. Go to church sometime.

Luke tells us that Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Ghost and became pregnant with Jesus. I suppose in a way that is asexual reproduction. Aside from that, Jesus was totally human in every way. He is also totally God and that is a mystery.

I mean this in a kind way. If you read the gospel accounts, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you will get these questions answered. Jesus was supernaturally conceived of Mary by the holy spirit of God.

He doesn't reproduce. English just doesn't have a perfect word. Jesus was part of God put into a soul and put into the Jesus body.

Begotten = born, not necessarily in a human way, though. Or perhaps begotten doesn't exactly mean 'born' but 'brought to life'/'made' etc.

People should have also told you that Jesus is eternally begotten of the same uncreated godly "essence" as his Father, by a process that has never been fully revealed.
