The most obvious flirting activity is the stare across the room and doing it multiple times. I you notice a guy checking you out from across the room and maybe he holds it that extra second where it's obvous then he's flirting.

Lots of smiles, or nudges, paying specific attention to you, or touching your hair/arm/hand....eye contact, a way of speak or a specific question/comment, mostly all the attention is at you.

If he looks into your eyes, talk to you a lot, gets out of his way to see you, and he bumps into you a lot "accidentally".

Read his body language. Is he leaning towards you or is he turned away. Is he looking at you when he's talking or is he looking around?
