Apparently it's in Wheaton. I don't remember if I've ever used the metro in Wheaton, but I believe it. Some of those escalators in D.C. are ridiculously long. The fun part is when the escalators aren't working (a frequent occurrence).

To tell you the truth, the longest escalator is not in north America. the longest escalator is in Ocean Park, Hong Kong , China.
