that is based on one definition of God, how many definitions are there? you too have to have a definition of God not to believe in it

God is the medium in which all things exist he is not a puppet master. why doesn't God prevent suffering, the same reason Earth doesn't prevent cacti, because it is the medium for cacti to grow, not their master

Theodicy - is the problem of evil. Which defines if God is all knowing why did he create a creature knowingly that would become the source of evil, being Satan, and how would that same God, create another being who would fall from grace. The problem with evil is not in the concept of God's knowing and even God's ability to prevent such happening, the problem really lies in our inability to fathom the reason why he would do it? To this inability we have fabricated many great theological discussions and a whole branch of theology aka "THEODICY".

Yet if it reveals God's righteousness, through no fault of his own, for knowledge does not constitute fault, God created Lucifer in the capacity for him to glorify Him in the capacity that He was created, He coveted the glory and praise Christ was to receive and in that covetousness, pride welled up in his heart till he thought he could over throw God, even in a small area. God's judgement upon Satan was to cast him out of Heaven. God could have chained him forever in Hell and that would have been the last that we would have heard of him, however, in the Omniscience of God, He knew that Satan or the adversary the devil would attempt and succeed to cause his other creation man to sin and rebell against God. The devil knew that this was not the end of the story. Yet because of his tempting man to sin, he also caused his own end more securely. Satan was judged, the Judge was Christ, in His death burial and resurrection was the counterstrike of Satan's tempting man to sin, so in the fall of man - man becomes what Satan wanted to beomce that was like God. Yet in the fall and in man's redemption man gains a greater end than if he had never fell from grace. Man becomes partakers with the divine nature through Christ. Why couldn't God do this in the beginning simply - God wanted a creature that could love him back. And know you know the rest of the story or a part of it any way. In the renewal of all things, when the books are opened and read from them how Christians overcame the world, the testimony of Jesus Christ will be that ever increasing volume.

My take on it is this. God created Satan so that in the fall His Son would be given a testimony that He would not have had, nor desired. Jesus did not desire, but was chosen to be the Savior of the World, out of the Love for the Father obeyed and went. He came from the heart of God to bring us into the heart of God. It was for this reason Satan was created so that a testimony of Jesus - who is the Spirit of prophey - would be accomplished - and this is why we have time - the reason why we have the creation of the world. Why we have any knowledge at all - Because God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life - and this life is in His Son.
