I always liked the original fried chicken recepie but for several years now it does not taste the same. What Happened? Did they lose the secret recepie or did they not pass all ingredients along to whoever they sold out to?

evedentally the fda found out that 9 of those 11 "herbs and spices" were illegal. they tried using "now with 2 herbs and spices", but it didn't sound as good, and didnt sell as well.

i don't think the kfc grilled chicken is depending on the unique recipe chicken and is a thoroughly new recipe. It has a thoroughly diverse style to it with one of those bbq or mesquite scent and style to it. i imagine it does style solid, yet i might want to really devour the unique chicken.

I know they have switched oils to try to get rid of trans fats. (like who cares if you're eating KFC does it matter?) Anyway, I heard a news report this morning about that they are changing again to try to make it "healthier."

They have recently changed the recipe to exclude trans fats...That might be why it tastes different.
