God is only one and the creator of the universe. There is only One God," the Creator, the Sustainer. Allah is One, without any partners. He has no sharers in His essence, attributes, actions, or rulings. He is the sole Creator of all that exists, has existed, and will ever exist. Everything other than Him is His creation – that is, a contingent being that came into existence after it did not previously exist.

He alone controls all events, causes, and effects, and no power exists independently of His power. Nothing happens outside of His will, neither before He willed it, nor after He willed it, neither more than what He willed, nor less than what He willed.
There is nothing like Him, and it is impossible to imagine or conceive Him. He is not qualified by the laws of His creation. He is not encompassed by direction or distance. Allah existed as He has always been before the creation of time and space.2 He not only created time and space, but He is transcendentally beyond them, such that He cannot be “in” a place, He cannot be “everywhere,” and He cannot be “nowhere.”

Allah is the eternally-existing, necessary first cause. Unlike His creation, which is a possible existent subject to nonbeing, beginning, and ending, Allah has no beginning and He will never perish or come to an end. Scholars have also explained, “Bringing creation into existence did not add anything to His attributes that was not already there.

He is the Sustainer of everything, directly sustaining every instant of the existence of all things. He alone gives life and He alone gives death, and He will re-create and resurrect living rational beings for judgment and retribution just as He created them the first time. Nothing is difficult for Him.

A definition does not even deserve the Lord. For our Father is holy. Not something that can be explained by theoretical matters. Yes, he has characteristics, but don't make it sound like another word in the dictionary. He is the creator of this universe, He knows how many hairs are on each persons head. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son to redeem us of our sinful nature. How could we ever manage to think we deserved that? He is powerful, everlasting, && divine. I love the Lord, my Father. How can people not believe this? It's just very devestating to me. May the Lord Jesus Christ find a way into the non believers of this world and may they find the peace & joy that the holy spirit gives. May they accept him into their hearts so they do not perish.
God Bless You All.

God is one who generates(G), observes(O) and Destroys(D) , or the one from whom, every thing happens and cause of all change. But if we go in depth of Hinduism, a new concept occurs. Under Vaishnavism, Sri Vishnu is supreme and for Shaivism, Shiva is God but the both of two suggests Radha and Shakthi are the actual powers behind Krishna and Shiva respectively. On the other hand Shaktas think that Goddess Adi parashakti is only generator, preserver and destroyer and known as dynamic essence of ultimate reality, OM, then one who is dimensionless, nirguna, who is neither male nor female, and is totally a static consciousness. But Devi-Bhagvata Purana suggests that the ultimate reality, OM always appears in front of us in the form of Female or known as Shakti, the cause of all change and dynamic herself, more over she actually performs the task of trimurti and trimurti are just referred as machines. So this concept suggests that GOD as mother is prevalent in Hinduism.thanks

My God is all love. Talks to me daily, gives suggestions but never demands or punishes. Picks me up when I fall & kisses my bruises. Praises me & encourages me to be my best. Introduces the right people, places & events for my growth. Gave me a wonderful life & family.
Told me that I too am God & that I could have anything I desired.

I believe there is only ONE God, and His name is God. I believe there is only One Way to Him, as the Divine person stated. God is the Creator, Lord, Savior, Bringer of Order, the Only sinless One, etc.

God is omnipotent, omnipresent, without flaw, omnibenevolent, omniscient, able to be 3 persons at once, able to exist in many planes of existance, eternal, transtemperal, sofisticated, experienced, Righteous, etc.

the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

If God exists (I'm 50/50) I believe he/she is a hands off kind of Creator. He got the ball rolling and hasn't interferred since. That's right, no ressurrecting, no appearing in shawls or burritos, and no talking to mortals, etc.

He has a 30 Strength and can cast fireball 3/times a day :)

I let those claiming such a being exists to define him. I haven't found any believers who can really give a decent definition. In general, it is some sort of sentient superbeing.
