then, wouldn't we all be direct descendants of Noah and his wife, instead of Adam and Eve?

Why give Adam and Eve all the credit, when Noah and his wife should get the credit for creating mankind's family tree is what I was asking?

Uh, wouldn't that make Noah a descendant of Adam and Eve... Hence making us descendants of Adam and Eve as well?

Yes. We are descendants of Noah and his wife, and also descendants of Adam and Eve. Because Noah and his wife were direct descendants of Adam and Eve. Best wishes.

Noah and his wife were direct descendents of Adam and Eve. As a matter of fact, Lemech, Noah's father, was born shortly before Adam died.
That being said, Noah took 2 of ever unclean animal- a male and a female, and 7 pairs of every clean animal. He also took his wife, his sons Shem, Ham, and Jepheth, and their wives.

So yes, we are descendents of Noah and the boys.... who were direct descendents of Adam.

blessings :)

hypothetically if Noah and his families are descendants of Adam and Eve then the arguement follows that the rest of mankind are descendants of Adam and Eve if Noah and his families are the only humans that survived the Great Flood.

Your wording is sorely lacking.

Presuming the literal interpretation of Genesis, we would all be direct descendants of Adam and Eve through Noah and his wife.

Noah and his wife would have still been descendants of Adam and Eve after all.
