I just wondered if they ever thought about that. Cause surely they realize that placing restrictions on them won't make tham change or go away.

Jiloth, how are they forcing their lifestyle onto your kids? If a person openlyadmits they are gay that doesn't qualify as forcing their way of life onto you.

and three more statements to add to that answer.

1. Norway is considered to be a better place to live than even the U.S.

2. Homosexuality is not completely about sex.

3. Therefore a law based on allowing them the right to marriage would not lead to legalizing obscure sexual behavior.

They'll keep giving birth to them and blaming it on the devil...

Or sin nature...

And they'll find a new group of people to demonize...

All in the name of Jesus, of course...

If gay people want to have sex with one another that is their right. When they try to push it on my children in school and force it into the public arena, and legislate their lifestyle on everyone in this country they are overstepping their bounds.
If they succeed in passing legislation that opens the door for gay marriage then what is to stop the pedophiles from doing the same thing? How about those who like sex with animals?
Sado-Masochists? Once sex is legislated in any capacity it will open a pandora's box like the one in Norway where the liberal sex legislation has brought upon their country disease, broken and bruised children and marriage without commitment among many other evils.

Gay people will always be around. Legislating rights based on sex for a very small minority of the people of this country is wrong. The vast bulk of society has already rejected the gay lifestyle. Read the polls that aren't taken by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance and their supporters. Read the secular polls
apart from any religious inference and the majority of citizens in this country are strongly in favor of traditional marriage and against gay marriage.

States that have brought up the issue to their voters have had very strong, one-sided votes against allowing gay marriage.
The only people that support gay marriage strongly are the gay community and those they have been able to convince that their lifestyle is normal. It isn't, and polls and votes cast in this country prove most people don't think it is either!

EDITING:

Seands11 -- I don't know if you are aware of it or not but there
are books being placed in the schools beginning with very young children teaching them that it is okay to have two dads or two mommies. I have seen the books and they are very offensive to me as a parent! This is mandantory reading in some schools.

Norway is a a society that is going downhill. I have friends on the net who tell me about that country that live there. Sexual promiscuity has caused multiple problems.

Homosexuality according to the Bible is all about sex as it is considered LUST! People in that lifestyle that think they are in love are deceived by the devil because they break God's laws and reject his condemnation of this sexual act.

Convert them and convince them that love is a sin if the participants have similar genitalia.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if one day someone decided it would be a great idea to outlaw homosexuality completely, and have people sent out of the country for it.

You have to understand though that the particular Christians you refer to don't live in the real world. They live in 1800 or so.

Judging by what bigots have done in the past, they would:
1. Start whittling away at other rights.
2. Eventually put them into ghettos.
3. Execute them.

Then they would move on to some other group that they don't approve of. Probably Islamists.

The first job we have as Christians is to be a witness and to witness to others. We as Christians don't have our sings going away instantly also all the time though it is possible. But with commitment to God, accountability to Christian brothers and sisters and discipleship then we can improve our witness and sin less. This is the same thing we would do to gay people, saved people and unsaved people. It is what the Great commission ask us to do.

I don't really think Christians are the ones banning gay marriage. A lot of gay couples go to church together every week. The church isn't the ones with the problems. If they were, the gay couples wouldn't be allowed to attend the church in the first place.

them be me...and I don't give a whit whether Christians accept me or not...and in fact, they probably have every right to reject me...I certainly have no respect for them. At least I live a life that is based on fact and reality. As far as I can see, Chistians and reality are deadly enemies....Gays are secondary here.

Nobody thinks that banning "gay marriage" will stop homosexuality. Many people do not believe practicing homosexuals should be afforded the legitimacy that marriage affords.

I'm just wondering why you think I care what some Christians will try to do? I will stand up against them trying to deny us rights and deny us our humanity as long as I suck air in this life.

You are saying only Christian are anti-gay. That lacks the true tone of truth. The question is not what will I do what will the "gays" do. If they are genetic gay or just choose the gay life style. How will it effect them?
