I am interested in building a cob home. I am proud to be pagan and would like to incorporate a lot of magick into the home. Does anyone have and suggestions?
Also, for those of you who don't know what cob is, it is a building made of clay, sand and straw - similar to adobe. Has anyone ever had any experience with this? I've never tried it, but I really want to do it. If there is anyone willing to try it, I'd be more than happy to accept volunteers as well!!
I know there's a lot to this question, but I just want to get out there and see people's opinion on this matter.

I could probably come up with more, but one idea I really like (and plan to do one day) is building a garden on the roof of the home. It helps with energy efficiency, especially if you live somewhere that gets hot in the summer, its that much less ground you would have to tear up, and it would look very original and cool.
Oh, and as far as magick: You could incorporate protective charms into the structure itself by putting herbs and spell satchets in the walls as the house is being built.

One suggestion is that 2/3 be placed below ground if you are building in the desert or dry country. How about a stucko house instead? What's behind the rising tide of paganism?
