read james 1:13,matthew 24:1-14,you will realize where he was,and in 1914 when jesus took his throne in haven that was as it explains in matthew a sign of his presance in hevan and the conclusion of this system of times was that there was going to be wars, food shortages, earth quakes, and wars against nation against nation and and kingdome against kingdome.and in 1914 after jesus took his seat in the throne world war one broke out.so you see the evidence.and in james you read "when under trial let no one say "i am being tried by god by god"for with evil god cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."
so the holocaust cannot be blamed on god or his son.also is zechariah 2:8 saysfor this is what jah of all armies has said"following after the glory he has sent to me the nations that were dispoiling you people, for he that is touching you is touching my eyeball." so u see god does not want you or any one else to suffer, and i know that some still might think that god is to blame but he isn't ,what do u think???if u need a bible http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/index.htm http://www.watchtower.org/library/pr/article_06.htm

People who know nothing about the way God works usually ask these questions. God sometimes needs for us to learn lessons and sometimes we have to go through learning experiences which we do not like.
God also gave us free will and we make bad choices and bad decisions. I have found out that when I make a decision that God knows will be harmful to me, all of sudden obstacles just start appearing.
Blaming God does not help. We have a hard time accepting we do not listen to him. That is what prayer and a quiet time with God is for. And yes, you do need a bible.

Jehovah made the world in a paradise are first fathers and a jealous angel name Satan change that...and in the book of Job...Job was tested not by God but the devil and Job over passed the test and He send his son Jesus for the words of Genesis 3:15 became true..And God loves us so much that he prove the Devil wrong that humans will follow God not for personal interest but for love of the creature....And in this end of days many of follow Jesus footsteps to help people remember why did God created the earth in the first place not to leaves us in sickness, wars, death but to make this the paradise he had plan since the beginning of time...and the devil knows that and that's way he twist religions to make God to blame for the deaths of children or love ones cause he needs more angels and that's is false cause Jehovah wants us to live in harmony with our brotherhood and that's why listen to the Jehovah Witnesses cause they want to save you and your family of this world or system of things for a better future...

I do not think God directly makes us suffer, but it is a necessary part of life.
“If pain and sorrow and total punishment immediately followed the doing of evil, no soul would repeat a misdeed. If joy and peace and rewards were instantaneously given the doer of good, there could be no evil—all would do good and not because of the rightness of doing good. There would be no test of strength, no development of character, no growth of powers, no free agency. … There would also be an absence of joy, success, resurrection, eternal life, and godhood.”

Even without wars we still suffer from disease and broken bones. So suffering is part of life. Maybe God created pain for us to recognize the difference between good and bad.

Of coarse, God doesn;t want us to suffer.
How do you know that Jesus took his seat in the throne in 1914? Is there Bible for that date?just curious.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdo
13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

one of the problems with believing in a god is that you have to explain why the world is so terrible.. you can't claim he's helpless to change things, so you have to make up a reason he wants the world to be like that.
The obvious solution: drop religion altogether.
the alternative is completely moroni.

The only ones that will suffer is the ones that are against God. If you are one of his people he will protect you.
