I usually identify these as the tablet that goes into the bin.

Manufacturers of illegal drugs are able to put pretty much anything on the tablets. A number more often than not signifies a dosage and this implies manufacture by the usual pharmaceutical folk.

If you MUST know try one of the following but be aware that this list is not exhaustive:

Imprint Code: 75
Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Wellbutrin 75 mg - Glaxo Wellcome
Description: yellow round tablet

Imprint Code: 75
Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Desipramine 75mg - Desipramine - Apotex
Description: Tablet - Orange - Round

Imprint Code: 75
Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Clopidoyrel Bisultate 97.875mg - Sanofi Winthrop
Description: Film Coated Tablet

Imprint Code: 75
Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Clopidoyrel Bisultate 97.875mg - Plavix - Bristol Myers Squibb
Description: Film Coated Tablet

Imprint Code: 75
Drug/Strength/Manufacturer: Amitriptyline HCl 75mg - Apo Amitriptyline - Apotex
Description: Tablet - Orange - Round

There is a site you can do a search: www.rxlist.com

The best place to get information for tablet identification is by calling Poison Control. They have the largest databases available, even better than most pharmacies.

I would call Poison Control if I really needed to know the answer to this one. The nationwide (US) phone number is 1-800-222-1222; it connects you to your local poison control center.

There are free online sources of this information but it's hard to be sure you're getting the right answer. drugs.com is the most user-friendly...

Doesn't sound like any of these, but you might try this tool to help out.

Your best bet is to take it to a pharmacy. I wouldn't trust any online answer, not even one that I gave (except for this one!).

No.
Nobody can tell you, neither here nor anywhere.
Just get rid of it.
