I am a hunter and a former Marine (Vietnam 67-68) and the two camo's are tow entirely different issues! The camo out for the hunter is superb for what it is used for, as well as the digital issues for the Marines...two separate items here. It's like comparing Desert BDU's with Regular camo BDU's! and Jake is a spinless moron!

Hunting camo is very precise, it is made for a certain location for a certain time of year and if both of those requirements are met then the camo will work superbly.
MARPAT on the other hand is supposed to work in all wooded environments and does a good job overall but in some conditions can be trumped by others.
If you can find a hunting camo made specifically for where you go and when then go with that. if not then MARPAT is a great substitute.

Camo is Camo. deer dont inevitably see in colour. they see in basic terms some colors. the clarification you're taking a seat in a blind or on a tree stand is that you've a backing, and that forestalls them from seeing you. in my opinion I genuinely have mossy o.ok.as well. as long as your searching in a dense section then camo is solid. if in snow or severe severe grass then they make different particular kinds for those terrains

Safety red is not the smartest camouflage for a marine. I've got close up to wild deer without camouflage. Hunting camo is just a way to sell expensive clothing.
