Ok- there are gay people. Why does that bother you? If they're going to hell, how is that your problem?

Fireball- I wish I could agree with you on that, but people are really offensive when criticizing gays- not convinced.

jloth- a friendly reminder vs. holding up signs and oppressing their rights over a hangup that some people find repulsive is a rather sick way of "saving someone" don't you think?

deof- soooo.... a truck is coming- do you warn them or throw a rock at their head and gossip about them until the truck comes? Ridiculing and isolating a person is, once again, a very sick way of saving someone.

windwalker- I wish that was preached at every church around the world... its sad not too many people think that way.

Hasn't anyone heard that physicians have found that in gays and lesbians there have been elevated or decreased levels of testosterone and estrogen.......I'm sure not every gay has stood in line at a clinic, but I mean, come on - if God created all than he created Gays too, get over it. Some gays are gay because of their genetic make-up - it's out of their control. This seems not plausible? Oh really - how do you explain a hermaphrodite? If a person can be a male and female at the same time and they were created by God - does this mean God made an error? Oh wait - he doesn't make errors, now does he? hmmmmmm - people are evil morons - that's all !

I do not believe gays will go hell, but that is for God to decide. I do believe being gay is wrong, but I believe that everyone has the right to believe in what they want and live their life the way the want as long as it doesn't harm others (or animals). I actually have a couple gay friends, I'm not real close, and they understand my point of view although they obviously disagree. I do not judge them for their choice, I don't like it, but they are great people who are loving, loyal, and hard-working.

I wish it didn't make so uncomfortable but the fact is it does, and to whoever made the comment to me I would love to hear your point of view as I try to be open-minded but I just feel men were meant to be with women.

That's what I said! My friend and I were walking to Turner field from our hotel a few weeks ago to see the Braves v. Cubs game and there were these church people holding signs like "homosexuality is an abomination" and junk like that.

I felt so bad for them. Do people have nothing more important to worry about.

And if you really do believe that they're wrong and headed for hell and you want to help them change their ways, how is calling them an abomination going to help?

Live and let live. If the people involved in the relationship are happy, let them be.

And think about it, who's putting more hate and negativity in the world- a happy gay couple who keeps to themselves, or an outspoken Christian who calls them names and says they are disgusting and that people shouldn't respect the homosexual community?

Not to mention, humans are part of the animal kingdom, and so are dogs, giraffes, rams, and penguins. However, dogs, giraffes, rams, and penguins have been known to choose partners of the same sex to live with. Sometimes, if one member dies, they will choose a member of the same sex to help them take care of their young! I mean, if these animals are "God's creations" too, just like people, and they are part of the animal kingdom, just like people, are they going to hell for doing homosexual things?

Ok- there's a person standing in the middle of the street unaware there's a truck about to run them over. If that bothers you, why? If he or she is going to get run over by the truck, how is that your problem?

I've never understood the threat language regarding homosexuality coming from most Christians. If you think being gay is a sin, don't do it. But if I don't choose to participate in your delusional fairy tale world and think differently, no one should paint me as an enemy just because I think for myself.

God os a God of mercy, and is not willing that any should perish, gay or otherwise.
Jam 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

Be yourself.

Don't worry about what others think. All you have to worry about is whether you are a good person.

What happens in someone elses bedroom is their own business. People who are not content with that spend too much time thinking about what happens in other people's bedrooms!

My Bible tells me that "I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER." Get real now - don't you care if people go to Hell or are you so sadistic that you really don't care about anyone's misery?

How could Christians say they love someone and never warn
them of danger - especially eternal danger? Imagine a fire raging in a home and the people upstairs are sleeping. The fireman stands outside and watches the house burn down and everyone killed inside including children. People would be all over him; screaming that he wasn't doing his job and that he didn't care about the people in the house. That is only
common sense.

Now the raging fires of Hell are only temporary, but the Lake of fire is eternal. Shouldn't there be a greater urgency to get people out of that fire before it is too late? LOVE WOULD COMPEL US TO DO SO, AND THAT IS WHY WE CARE!

Edit: How sad that people in here are so crass and ignorant that they give a thumbs down on an honest answer because it doesn't fit in with their belief system.

There is no substantial proof that there is genetic cause in gay people. It has never been proven and never will. God would be terribly unjust to condemn unrepentant gays if He created gay genes. God is perfect so genetic gays is a lie.
