The Scriptures teach the very opposite. Grace is like the governor's pardon to a prisoner. It forgives him, but it does not give him freedom to break one single law on the statute books. The forgiven person, living under grace, is under double obligation to keep the law. A person who refuses to keep God's law, saying that he is living under grace, is mistaken. He is living under disgrace

Because those who live by the Commandments alone do not know that the price has been paid for the penalty of sin.

The Law binds me to death and sin, because it is a reminder of sin. Grace is pardon from sin; yes I am free from Law, but now I have a new set of 'rules' to live by:
Love God with all my heart, mind and soul
Love YOU as He loves ME.
If I follow those I will never BREAK any laws.

Actually we a re cursed by our own unwillingness to follow the laws. The truth is that if we were willing to follow the laws we could follow them without ever knowing that there were laws to be followed.

Romans 6:14-16 "For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?"

Faith without works is dead, James 2: 14-26.

Romans 2:13 "(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.)"

Acts 10: 35 "he that . . . worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."

Titus 3: 8 "be careful to maintain good works."

1 Pet. 1: 17 "Father . . . judgeth according to every man’s work."

2 Pet. 1: 5 "add to your faith virtue."

1 Jn. 3: 18 "let us not love in word . . . but in deed."

1 Jn. 3: 22 "we receive of him, because we keep his commandments."

Rev. 22: 14 "blessed are they that do his commandments."

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." (Revelation 20:12-13.)
