I'm pretty sure there is a bus. Go to the tourist information centre and pick up a leaflet.

It will have to be bus once you get on Skye as the train does not go over the bridge.....but you can get a bus I think from Glasgow...not sure if there is a direct train or you have to go via Inverness I think there is only a small single track line to Kyle of Lochalsh If you have the choice the railway passes some outstanding scenery

There's some excellent info on this site. It's the site of the White Heather Hotel but it gives you all the local buses, taxis, coaches, railways etc... http://www.whiteheatherhotel.co.uk/Buses.html
Personal recomendation: West Highland Line from Glasgow to Fort William which goes through some incredible scenery including the wild expanse of Rannoch Moor. From Ft Wm take the West Coast Line to Mallaig, more amazing scenery including the Glenfinnan Viaduct. From Mallaig catch the Calmac ferry to Armadale on Skye which has excellent views of the island as you approach and other islands including Rhum and Eigg and of the mountains of the Knoydart Peninsular. Finally local transport to your destination. Rapsons operate buses from Armadale throughout the island and there's a local taxi company there as well.

Check the Traveline Scotland web site for the most appropriate option for you:
http://www.travelinescotland.com
All of the options are described in detail on the official web site for Skye.
http://www.skye.co.uk/travel.php
The suggested journed seems to be a bus from Glasgow to Fort William (Scottish Citylink service), then from Fort William to you chosen destination on Skye.
