Well, Father Amorth is the Vatican Exorcist. He's written two books. The first one is called "An Exorcist Tells His Story" I'm not sure what the second one is called.

As far as self-exorcism, I don't know of any books.

Hi there, I have just finished a great book on this and it is mind-blowing stuff, this is the real thing and not Hollywood fiction; it is the life story of Fr,Gabriele Armoth who was the official exorcist in Rome for 50yrs.
It is printed by Ignatius Press, San Francisco, and I got it myself on Amazon.

You are most defiantly self deluded if you think you can get rid of a demon on your own just by reading a book! Even Priests have a hard time with it, find a Jesuit and have him do it!
