I would just put something simple like I love you or the date. If you put too much; they will have to use such small lettering you won't be able to see it well. You could also use nicknames or a date that is important to the two of you. Or you could do some type of design like hearts or double wedding rings. Good luck with you wedding! :)

On mine particularly I would engrave TQ, TA, TA, TD. "Te quiero, te adoro, te amo, te deceo" That's our thing to tell each other whenever we want to say more than just I love you. But you can inscribe something that relates to you guys, something that when you read it you know its him.
