Now that they have a man who has sex with another man which is not within the bounds of a biblical marriage relationship what do they teach in their youth groups and Sunday School classes? How do they define what is moral? How can they say it is wong to have sex outside marriage between a man and a woman? How can they tell boys and girls it is wrong to have sex before marriage? Since they do not use the Bible as their basis for morals what do they use? Why do they call themselves Christians, since a Chrstian is defined by the Bible?

The Episcopal church is deeply divided on the subject of sexual ethics. Many faithful Episcopal congregations are appalled by the ordination of a Bishop who is gay and living with his boy friend. They are splitting in two, with the traditional churches aligning themselves with conservative African Bishops.

I know an Episcopalian priest. He told me that his church is simply trying to welcome people without a message of hate.He is not trying to justify anything. It is not about ethics. And morality is a matter of perspective. They do not teach people that they should have sex outside of marriage or that people should be gay.On the other hand, at least many of their US churches, are starting to allow people to live according to who they are and not what the church thinks they should be.Keep in mind that not all Episcopalians share this view. Many are like you.Closed minded and full of Bible quotes to keep the mind closed and keep the church doors locked.

A christian - today - is defined by whatever fantasy you believe in. A true "christian" is one who is "Christ like" which does not exist in this day and age that ai have ever seen. Christ did not condemn those people you mentioned, but every false preacher since then has.
