What have you tried so far? I have acne problems also. Nothing seems to work but I have been using Obagi for the past 3 months and it has worked great. the first month and a half is horrible you break out like hell and you feel like removing the skin off your face because of the breakouts but after that it clears out and you get a nice vibrant skin. It costs about $200. It is on the expensive side but I would def suggest it. I will provide with the site. Hope this helps. Take care

Steaming your face works VERY well. I recommend you do this at night because your face will be red for a while from the steam. You have to be VERY careful when doing this though. Start with a freshly washed face. Before doing anything else, make sure there are no kids or animals around that can get burned by the hot water. Simply heat water in a covered pot on the stove until it begins to steam. Turn the heat off, & remove the pot from the stove. Carefully remove the pot's lid and test the steam with your hand making sure it will NOT burn your face (DO NOT TUCH THE HOT WATER). Put your face over the steam (about 12" away) with a a towel over your head to hold the steam in. Do this for about 10-12 minutes. For deep acne, you can repeat this process a few times. When you're done steaming, splash cold water on your face to help you cool down and close your pores. The hot steam will dry any existing pimples and give you a deep cleaning to help prevent new pimples from forming. Again, your face will be red from the steam so I recommend you do this at night.

Problems with your skin = problems with your diet!!!

Skin is an indication that there is an imbalance on the inside of the body.

I was a long time user of Proactiv, it helped for a while but the deep large painful Cystic Acne pustules came back!!!
If you seriously want to get rid of your acne , for life, i recommend going on the Raw Foods Diet. Stress, hormones and pollutants will plague you for the rest of your life if you dont arm yourself with a truly healthy diet.

I have been 80% Raw for 3 months now and have kicked my coffee habit (a big contributor to acne as it dries out the skin) and quit smoking. My skin is better than it has looked in years!! Plus I just started my monthly cycle and have NOT broken out at all like most other women do.

How much water do you drink daily?
Soda drinker? Coffee drinker? anything that stimulates you will attack the hormones thus causing a breakout.

look at natural remedies for skin care. Chemicals will make it worse. Other people just want to take your money or they truly think that chemicals will 'cure' your problem when it is just covering the symptom.

Well no matter how good the advertisements sound this is what my dermatologist tells me. First she walked in the room and said..."Your acne is not a result of your diet" I breathed a sigh of relief and then she began to tell me that benzoyl peroxide is the best stuff out there for you to use. She prescribed me a $140 bottle of the stuff and I said I didn't have that kind of money so she told me to use OTC Stridex Power Pads...they work great and i'm almost clear! But beware it will look worse for about 2 weeks before it gets better!

The best thing for me for quick relief is zinc oxide cream (for poison ivy) or a baby diaper cream like Desitin. Both have zinc as the active ingredients. I just put it on my face when at night or when I'm not going out, and it really shrinks my zit. Calamine lotion, also with zinc, works just as well. For prevention, I use a pro-active knock-off from the drug store (there are a few, just look for one that says "compare to proactive", it's way cheaper than the real thing and works just as well). All of these products can be found at any drug store.
