Jesus knew full well what the consequences would be when he claimed to be the son of God. He knew He came to the earth to endure the cross. Yes there were those that thought He was a Liar, He proved them wrong. Those that thought he was a Lunatic; the soldier at the cross for one. But the fact that He arose and came back to earth quite simply makes him LORD.

Jesus was a good man that tried to teach love. There is nothing wrong with him saying he is God. I believe I am a piece of God. That doesn't make me crazy, it just makes me a person that has a different belief than yours. For me it is the truth. If Jesus thought he was THE GOD then why does he say that all he can do, we can do and more. Spread some love and light up the world. Find what feels good and right to you and give others the freedom to do the same.

Did he say that he was God or that he was the son of God, the son of man?
I believe he was a good man trying to teach us to love each other and help mankind. I don't see him as a lunatic, liar or lord.

Jesus never said he was God! So he was a prophet.
you replied by saying they killed him because of that---
Actually on the cross it was written King of the Jews NOT GOD of the Jews.
Matthew 27:37
Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Mark 15:26
The written notice of the charge against him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Luke 23:38
There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
John 19:19
Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

none.
Jesus was a prophet of God. God has no children, and no true prophet is a liar or a lunatic.

a combination of all three actually,
Firstly he has to lie to those who can't handle truths. he also has to lie to gain power among those who are undeserving.
He's a lunatic because that's how the world is gonna percieve him whether he actually is Jesus or not.
And thirdly yes, he's the Lord. Accept it.

IF Jesus was real... I would say just going with the times- he was probably a very forward and influential person who actually cared about the well being of his followers.
