When you say the Name of Christ you are actually saying,`Anointed One of God` and the beautiful name Jesus means,`God saves`.
Now some overpowering Christians have probably annoyed you but Christ Himself has done nothing to deserve this kind of verbal abuse.

The word Christ means annointed. Traditionally, kings have always been annointed with oil. Soooo Jesus was annointed as king -- not as a god!

I love the person of Christ, not just the word 'Christ.' If used in the wrong context, it is blaspheme.

Very nice scene in "Hot Fuzz" when they're having a shootout with the Vicar and when the Vicar yells "Jesus CHRIST" right before he tries to fill them full of hot lead.

Considering I've been annointed with consecrated oil according to Greek tradition (all 13 spots no less!), I am a christos myself.

I prefer Jesus and not as a swear word. even if the pastor reads JEsus christ from the bible it upsets me it should be Jesus the massiah. you need to seek God and find the true Jesus.

I don't use it much myself. But let's be nice to the Christians -- they don't know any better.
