I've known this guy for about a year, but we've never met, he's 25 and I'm 18. In the beg. of the friendship, I kind of liked him, but as time grew on, the feeling stopped. Now he's really into me and he texts me stuff like "i love u" and "let's cuddle" or "r u coming over 2nite?" and I keep telling him like "u WOULD love me." and telling him I'm not coming over and then he says he was just kidding and if the reason I'm not coming over is because I hate him, in which case I'll respond and he'll respond back that he was just kidding. We've gotten into countless discussions about why I won't 'give him a chance' (Uhm how bout for starters, HE'S 25? Being friends is okay, but NOT dating) Like seriously, wth is up with him?

I'm not dating him for those of you who don't read carefully. I only like him as a friend and I HAVE told him that. I'm not playing the dumb roll, I just don't know what to do because I still want his friendship, but that's it.

As long as you keep responding he thinks you're interested. Stop responding, some of them just don't get it otherwise.

My first thought is this guy must be in a dead end job (if he has one). He sounds pretty inexperienced and has alot growing up to do. Someone that is 25 is generally too old for an 18 year old, in this case it's not because he is more mature. Not a very desireable description for a guy.
If you want him to lose interest until that time, just try politely ignoring him, much like you would a friends kid brother at a picnic or gathering.

Based on what you have said, he sounds pretty immature for 25, then again most guys take a lot longer to grow up then woman. I think he just wants the get in you pants.

Uh....what's up w/ YOU???? Age is a number; something romance tolerates and LOVE doesn't look at.
What's the REAL reason you don't want to be around this guy??? I don't buy the age thing........nope....there's another reason.
When you're ready for self-honesty, you'll discover more about yourself. Have fun. La8-r ga8-ter (or however you texties jargon you all use).

Like seriously, grow up. You are old enough to know what is going on, don't play the dumb roll, it is really not attractive to most men. If you are not interested in him and loathe him why do you keep being bothered and taking up his time. Stop playing games and move on. God bless****

sometimes guys get really hormonal and do stuff that is really weird to you. guys are pigs weather he is a friend or not. i would defenitly tell him that i dont like you "joking around like that" and if he doesnt stop dont be friends until he stops making you uncomfortable. Or you can ignore him, and he'll feel bad then stop.

What is your deal with your age difference hang up? Anyway, he likes you obviously. Since you don't feel the same just be honest and let him down so that you can try and still be friends. Good luck.

baby girl, it's almost the same as the story of the boy who cries wolf. don't take him seriously when he's speaking out of the context. it sounds like he wants a reaction from you just for the kick of it. (some guys are like that; that's just how they are). think of it as a joke; either play along or ignore it.
