Funny, I was just complaining about this a month ago. I was using ziploc bags to put the sippy cuts in. I recently went out and bought two juice sippy cups that come with built in caps (9months+) made by the First Years at Baby R'Us. I've used it on several outings so far and it seems to work. There have been no leaks :-) Good luck.

Any way up cup as suggested by some one else, is the best cup i ever found, they have a special valve on the spout which only lets the liquid out when the child sucks, both of my kids used these cups and i would never trust anything else, they also last an age!!! they cost around £3 and are available from good chemists, Boots and the like, also most of the big supermarkets stock them

The best one that I ever had was called the Anywayupcup. You can buy them in different sizes according to your childs age, from Boots, Superdrug, supermarkets. The child has to suck on it a little like a bottle but it is a beaker. My daughter got through loads of them and I had to prize the last one off of her when she was 4. She used to love a cup of tea in a morning lying down and I never got any on my bedding. They cost about £3-absolute bargain!

Gerber makes a really good sippy cup. We've been having ours for probably about 6 months or so and it's still holding up. The only way it leaks is if you overfill it. I can't remember which one it is. But it changes colors when you put something cold in. But I know it's made by Gerber.

Anyway up cups are great but i find that if you put them in the dishwasher the lids become warped and harder to get on and off.
I have a two year old charge and at the moment the best receptacle for going out and about is the sports cap Evian water, cheap and cheerful and it works !

I smiled as I read your question. Of course we all have leaking problems! May I suggest a water bottle spout. This is something you can close and open. Then pour just a bit into a sippy cup for your child.

I got the new baby einstein, and they seem to work very well. They cost about 8.00 - 9.00 dollars, which isn't so bad if you think about all of the laundry you do with the leaking ones.
Also I got just the spouts at a drugstore that does the trick, you just attach it to a water bottle and it comes with a lid so they don't leak.

i use a little tiny insulated lunch bag that i can put a blue ice pack in to keep the drinks cool, and there's just enough room for 2 cups. and it's small enough to fit in the diaper bag.

and we also use the nuby cups, we've really had no leak issues.
