My 15 month old daughter looooves oatmeal with applesauce or other fruits, but I'd like to feed her some variety... but still keep it healthy...

cheerios, corn flakes (I have found to crunch these up a little for younger kids, the edges are a little sharp) eggs, whole wheat toast, blueberry pancakes (minus the syrup would be healthier) cream of wheat, fruit and yogurt blended together.

I have preschoolers, so I start out saying I don't know if your 15 month old will be able to eat all these foods:

muffins, with whole grains
cream of wheat, with fruit bits mixed in
plain cheerios, with the gerber tiny dried fruit bits, and milk

whole-wheat cheese toast (take a slice of cheese, put it on the bread, and put it in the broiler to melt the cheese and toast the bread), a banana, and milk

Now that they are in preschool, mornings are hectic, so we do a lot of granola bars (which they call "baby poptarts") for breakfast. I usually get the Special K bars, Healthy Heart bars, or Pediasure nutrition bars, instead of the regular sugary Quaker Chewy Granola Bars

My son is 18 months and was really hard for breakfast. He didn't like egg so much either but we found frozen quiche. he loved them high in protein. also cereal bars worked really well. hates oatmeal but loves grits. ham steaks work pretty well cut up small. banana and cheerio sandwich . make it fun and they will eat.he also loves to dip graham crackers in yogurt. he pretty much dips everything it makes it fun. fruit in yogurt. I also do pancake with cream cheese ans sugar free jelly cut up and try to use fork. French toast there is some egg and i don't use syrup just a little butter.. His favorite is muffins. make with fresh fruit add some yogurt you have breakfast. Sometimes he doesn't feel like breakfast. I think if the want ti eat cheese or grilled cheese for breakfast go ahead just feed the other stuff you know they need later. hope this helps. good luck feeding is my biggest challenge.

cream of wheat, made with milk is so yummy and even more vitamins than oatmeal, ( not that oatmeal is bad, we love that too ) you can add applesauce and stuff as well. Also try scrambled eggs and my son loves yogurt. He also like bacon and sausage links. He can pick up the links and eat them with his hands. I also like to make him homemade fruit muffins, or you can buy the mixes at the store and add dried fruit like cranberries and raisins. The dried fruit is a life saver, I can add it to anything, pancakes, oatmeal, and then they are getting some fruit in their meals and don't even know it.

Sometimes I'll scramble half an egg and use the remainder to make a slice of french toast (whole wheat).

Yogurt, fruit and (whole wheat) toast is a good one. They eat toast plain, but you can put butter or jelly on it if you want to.

But keep up the oatmeal!! It's super great for them and keeps them regular!!

Breakfast burritos with veggies cut up real small - like red pepopers. Sometimes Ill make the eggs the night before too, so I just have to warm them. Same goes for a quiche or strata - you can hide lots of stuff in those to develop tastes.

Also try mixing in flax seed with the oatmeal.

Our other favorite food, although we get this one pre-made, is a breakfast pizza.

Yogurt with granola is good too.

My daughter loves Malt-o-Meal. It's like oatmeal but different.
There is also whole wheat pancakes, toast with a little peanut butter, or muffins.

low fat graham crackers, kids tend to like broccoli, raisins, bananas are usually a hit...

my son likes peanut butter on whole grain tortilla wraps. I wrap them up like a stick, it's easy to hold and I don't have to cut crusts off.
