Hi.. I was just wondering if anyone knows the meaning or origin of this name "Yalila"?

I was just wondering if anyone knows what this name "Yalila" means?? It is my name pronouced like "Ya-Lee-lah" a lot of people ask me I dont know. All i know i was named after my moms friend. Thanks.

(جليلة) - “Jalila” commonly pronounce as “Yalila” is an Arabic originated name. It means dignified, noble, majestic etc.

It's a Moslem name meaning great, exalted, splendid. The usual spelling is Jalilah.
