This is gonna surprise you and I suspect many others too, when a ranking Cardinal wins the election to be Pope it is in effect a promotion but with a reduction in pay to absolute zero, the Pope recieves no salary at all and may not own a bank account.
The late Pope John Paul had nothing to leave in his will to his staff or friends.
Salient2 is wrong, the Pope cannot nor does not have or use a credit card.

That I am aware of the pope does not have a salary. All of his expenses are taken care of by the church. He and all priests take a vow of poverty. They are not allow to own anything. The church pays for everything they need.

100 preteens, 200 males, 300 widows and upwards of 150 married women.
He doesnt teach anything from the Bible. It states that idolatry is hated by Jehovah, yet they are saturated in repetitive and meaningless tradition, fancy clothes, prominent churches and bodies of elders. The cross is fake because Christ was pinned to a stake, with 2 stakes, not 3.
And they teach that there is a hell, yet the bible clearly states that there is no hell. Any mention to hellfire, gehenna or eternal destruction has to do with the second death, and a final one. Not eternal consciousness of the death.
Its laughable how people follow individuals who have rewritten the bibles scriptures until they are molded to their liking. And most people in church dont even read the bible, or look up the scriptures. You are going to trust what he says? All men are sinful, yet you will trust some human with your spiritual life and welfare, but not another individual anywhere else in the same way?
You'd be shocked to really learn the truth of their lies.

Howabout the sum of the profits from tourism to the Vatican-Rome area. The Vatican owns the largest fine art collection already, they don't pay taxes and they have their own money and banking system. Financial worries are the Popes last problems.
