Try a Fire Maple. As the name implies, the big, broad leaves turn all shades of red and orangish - really spectacular! They also grow into a nicely branched rounded shape, or at least the one in our front yard did. A Japanese Maple might have similar colors, but with a different shape tree and smaller, spine shaped leaves.

Some neighbors had an oak tree of some kind that turned a nice orange at first in the fall, but it didn't drop the leaves readily and they hung on the tree turning a rather dull brown.

Maple trees turn red, orange and brown. Google "Trees", then go to a Nursery and investigate which trees have leaves which turn orange.
