How do you get dry paint off hardwood?

i painted me room and got paint on the hardwood trim thats around it

If you are talking about a spot, then a product like goo gone.
If you are talking about removing the paint from painted hardwood then you will have to use a paint stripper, found at hardware stores or home improvement stores.

If you got a blob of latex paint on some hardwood that I'm assuming is sealed with a top coat dont freak out too much. Providing that its latex paint it is water based and you should be able to take a plastic scraper and remove it without damaging your floor. Try moistening the area if it is dried on (warm water and a sponge will do) then use the scraper. Dont use thinner or remover on your floors or you will ruin the finish of the floor along with doing nothing to the paint if its waster based. If its oil based ur SOL.
