I think that Jesus has been more maligned than Mohammed. So I disagree with that. Besides, he raided caravans. He stole. Raiding caravans is stealing.

As far as his marriage to a young girl, I don't care. I think that history would show that there was a lot of that in those times. It wasn't looked at like we tend to these days. So all those who bring it up like Mohammed was a child molester is unnecessary and unfair. They had slaves back in those times too. And we see that as wrong now. So anyone saying that people who owned slaves were by definition evil are wrong.

What I find these days is people want to think that people have always thought like we do now,when that simply isn't the case.

Seems like a pretty good article. I'm still bothered by polygamy, no matter the reason.

I'm reading the Quran. I am a Christian, and find a couple of differences between our two faiths that are of substance.

The marriages of Muhammad is problematic for me, but there are some others of more consequence.
