Christians do not think it is wrong because it is illegal. They believe it is wrong because it is a mind altering drug, which is the same as witchcraft.
In the Old Greek language, sorcery is the word PHARMIKEA, which is where we get pharmacy, parmaceutical and so on. Smoking marijuana alters a persons mind, therefore are more susceptible to the spiritual realm. God forbids the practice of witchcraft, therefore, Christians should never accept pot no matter what DOPE HEAD in goverment makes it legal.

Let me just say this, how would you feel about a Christian if you saw them smoking weed? Even if it were legal?

Well they don't really frown upon alcohol depsite the fact that it kills hundreds of thousands a year due to disease, violence, and drinking and driving. Not to mention the millions of abuse, some to children, some sexual caused directly or indirectly from alcohol.
In fact Jesus turned water into wine, they celebrate a man who got drunk and danced naked in front of his children, and yet another who was drunk enough to sleep with his daughters.
Yet weed is responcible for a few bad movies, and yeah eventually lung cancer when you're 65-70. Which is worse again? Hypocrites.

In the bible, it says that we are to partake of the fruit and herbs God gave us. Why would that particular herb be different? If you believe in God, then you should thank him for the gift of cannibis sativa! It is only the laws of man that prevent Christians from smoking weed.

They should fight for legalizing it because according to their bible GOD SAID "I give u all seed bearing plants and HERBS to use.." in Genisis right after the creation of man.
So it should be legal based on what their holy book says and just maybe they come back to reality if they smoke some and open their minds.

They will say it is bad and that no good Christian should do it. But as we all know everyone has a vice, and many Christians would probably take it up (if they haven't already), just like drinking, gambling, and sex.

I know Christians that smoke weed. I also know that I'm not one of those who do.
A Christian is not a Chirstian because he doesn't smoke weed.

I hope they make it legal. It's actual a very good medicinal drug, if used properly. God created plants like that for us. Unfortunately, we've abused it.
