There are a lot of people who ask stupid q's just for shocks, knocking all of the people with genuine R&S based questions off the front pages. Why is this happening, why aren't the people who think they are funny in the Joke section of something?
There are people who care less about R&S who come into the R&S section unsulting the people who are actually R&S! I know R&S people may question others, but that's one of the reasons the section is here!

I don't mean to sound rude but... What do you expect? This is yahoo answers.... not a christian forum or a hindu forum or a buddhist forum..... It's not even really a forum at all. It's questions & answers..... and being that it's not a forum it is not moderated by human beings so all of these questions that lack substance are not monitored for content. I would suggest just try to deal with it. A lot of the questions here are just trolls for shock value, but the genuine questions are usually really good so i'd say stick around and wait it out.

This isn't only in the Y!A answers. I see the same in the politics, military, and several other sections. Push questions, provocative & unnecessary insults, etc...
I think that it has more to do with the anoint of the internet and Y!A than anything else. These people have nothing to do, so they come on and annoy the rest of us.
There are a core group of people here who try to honestly answer questions and gain knowledge - those are the posters you should listen to.

because there aint much here... have to spend a lot of time waiting for the good ones... I have a daily layover so spend it on the library computer... sometimes I find an honest seeker who can be helped by further contact off of Ya... most honest seekers bail out fast when they see the truth of the trash and hate here.

Bashers and trolls have basically taken over, sometimes I have to go two pages just to find a legitimate question. Bashing and trolling seems to be a very pathetic way to spend ones life, total waste.

its more a chatbox than an ecnyclopedia a la wiki where valuable knowledge is stored.
messages older than 15 minutes can be deleted by the system.
