I think that as far as the 'least and greatest' goes, I will leave that up to Him. He's just got to know that I am jealous of any who are seen before me. Not that I wouldn't be at fault for the reason why, I would most certainly to be the blame.
I think that Jesus is illustrating the attitude that we should have, especially here, but everywhere. Where we are to welcome those who want to come to God:
John 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him
So we'd better be those Ambassadors that we are suppose to be.

Parrallel Passage:
13 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." 16 And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
17 As Jesus started on his way, a man ran up to him and fell on his knees before him. "Good teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" 18 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: 'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.'" 20 "Teacher," he declared, "all these I have kept since I was a boy." 21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. "One thing you lack," he said. "Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." 22 At this the man's face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!" 24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." 26 The disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, "Who then can be saved?" 27 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God." 28 Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!" 29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields--and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life. 31 But many who are first will be last, and the last first."
Children are of great worth. V.13-14
Children receive things with simple faith. V.15, 27
Children are innocent/obedient. V.19-20
Children are willing to share. V.21-22
Children are humble. V.31 (like: whoever exhalts himself will be humbled, but whoever humbles himslef will be exhalted)

We have to accept Christ as eager children. Children are always humble and eager to learn. That's how I have to be to be able to draw closer to him.
Being pride, and thinking I know it all will not make a name for myself with Christ or God.
Great scripture too!

treat others as if you are the least. treat others as though they are higher and more important than you. if you treat others with this kind of respect if is like you are also treating God this way. It honors God. if you treat others as if you are the least then you are really the greatest.

You never know that when you help someone by talking to them, helping them financially ect that you may be changing that person's life in the name of Jesus. And Jesus commanded us to Love one Another as He loved us.
