Some neopagans have embraced the word heathen, so, to avoid confusion, I try not to use it for myself. I also don't generally identify myself as an atheist or infidel because those terms express what I'm not rather than what I am. Humanist or secular humanist are my preferred terms, which announce that I have embraced the moral, positive, compassionate, and rational philosophy of Humanism.

I have good days and bad, like most people, but I'm generally a happy Humanist.

Hail and Greetings

Yes, I am happy to be Heathen. My life view has changed for the better since I've discovered Asatru/Forna Sed. I enjoy learning more about my religion and upholding the Nine Noble Virtues.

I'm not a bowling pin.

The History of Bowling

Bowling has been traced back to ancient Egypt, where archaeologists found a set of nine stone pins in the tomb of a child buried in about 5200 BC. The modern version of the sport began during the 4th or 5th century AD in Germany, where bowlers rolled balls down church aisles at a club called the heathen. The bowler's religious faith was supposedly demonstrated by hitting the heathen.

Yes. In my life, I've been a Christian, an atheist, and a heathen (in that order). I can honestly say that I have had the most fun being a heathen.

I'd rather be a heathen than an atheist. I mean, heathen sounds so much cooler.

Human beings are heathens, we always did not have clothes & glasses.

hell, we sailed across the Pacific Ocean 30,000 years ago & us humans have almost been extinct once before. We got teeth for a reason.

Well you see the general concensus...we are all happy! Although I would not refer to myself as a heathen, I'm sure this question is directed toward people who believe as I do...or rather, people who don't believe as you do.

That all depends on your definition of what a heathen is. I am happy.
