This is the easiest and quickest one (and good!) one I do.
Boil 12 oz. of your pasta of choice, drain, toss with a tub of pesto. Add some grated Parm/asiago/Romano from the freezer and you're done!
Less than half an hour and it really good.

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1/2 pound sliced bacon
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon minced onion
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
12 ounces pappardelle pasta
1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
1/4 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
Directions
1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Whisk 1 tablespoon bacon fat in a bowl with vinegar, mayonnaise, olive oil, onion, salt, and pepper until well blended.
2. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Toss with vinaigrette, bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Make it Kid Friendly: Toss the noodles with butter and olive oil and make a bacon, lettuce, and tomato side salad.
Pair it With: Turning Leaf 2001 Zinfandel, California, $9. This not-too-heavy red with a hint of strawberries adds a kick to the piquant sauce.

here are a few ideas: boil a delicate pasta like angel hair until done, toss with a tablespoon of butter or olive oil, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1 1/2 tsp italian seasoning mix, and 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
or, take a sturdy pasta like rotini or penne, boil it until done, then toss with a bag of mixed frozen veggies ( I suggest a mix with broccoli & carrots, prepared per package directions), 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 Tablespoon italian seasoning mix. This makes a quick primavera.
Or, boil some linguini until done, mix with a jar of Bertoli white wine and mushroom alfredo sauce. Add some cooked, peeled shrimp that have been satueed with olive oil, garlic and shallots for a quick seafood alfredo dish.
Hope this helps!

Boil a large pot of water. Pour in a box of noodles. (If you use long noodles like spaghetti you can break them in half first to make them fit in the pan better). Boil for about 10-14 minutes, depending on the type of noodle and how soft you like them. The thinner the noodle, the less cooking time it requires. (Angel hair only takes about 6-7 minutes to cook). Pour the noodles in a colandar over the sink, and rinse quickly with cold water to stop them from cooking. For a simple topping you can use a jar of spaghetti sauce, olive oil, butter, or parmesan cheese.

Add your pasta to a pot of boiling water and cook until al dente, drain and return to pot and add salt and oil and stir.
Pour over a can of sauce, which has been cooked and stir to combine.
