Dandelions are not poisonous. All that will happen, if he eats enough, is that you might see discoloration and/or plant fragments in his stool.

DOGS eat vegetation like grass and dandelions when they have upset stomachs. It is a natural for them to do this.

Dandelions can be used for people food- but you don't want to let your great dane eat too much of them- especially the roots.

Certain parts of the Dandelion are poisonous.I don't see it on the list. You can go to Purina.com and they have a list under safety and there is a list of poisonous plants for dogs and one for cats. I hope this will help.

Well I'm not sure but it's probably not good for them to eat dandelions. Yesterday I caught my dog eating grass. Dogs can be so weird.

Well... dandelions can be used to make wine.. so maybe they will get drunk :) my puppy tries eating them every time we go outside!

People eat them...I don't see why it would hurt a dog.
