ok, i have been dating this girl for a week. but it seems like a long time - not in a bad way. it feels like we have known each other for a really long time. i think i am really connecting with her. but am i too attached already? should i take things slower?

If she feels the same way, tell her. I started talking to this guy about a month ago, nothing to serious, and Im head over heels for him, i told him this weekend and he felt the same. Honesty is the best policy and as long as everyones clear of where the situation is, then it will be less likely for someone to get hurt in the end. My opinion, enjoy it while you can, make every moment awesome and go with the flow. People worry to much about being honest, and getting hurt.

Slow down... you're just overcome by lust/limerence/hormones. Take some time and get to know her before deciding you're 'attached.' Trust me... 3 months from now you'll have a whole new perspective on her. Which may or may not be a bad thing. But you're going way, way too fast.

Take it slow. We go by our feelings and our feeling can lead us the wrong way. I had someone fall in love with me fast too. I've been in a 14 yr relationship. Now that we are not together I realize that he is not the one i want to spend the rest of my life with. Three kids later. Just take your time. Be friends first and not lovers if you want it to last.

Why could you want to? that's time-honored for you to be related to a male with whom you have basically mated with. Mating is how people procreate. If we did no longer experience attachment to the guy have been intimate with, then we'd be no longer something better than animals. This attachment is what keeps relationships mutually. opt for your acquaintances properly.

mmmm I'd say yes, that you may want to slow things down. Normally women are the ones who get too attached=) but I'd see how things go, if you think she's starting to lose interest or makes any comments on it, then that's when to back away a bit..but if nothing's mentioned, then you're probably fine...
