Because it will bring an end to all badness. Jehovah's Witnesses look forward to that time.

I look forward to it because it will be a truly just war. Armageddon will accomplish something that no other war has ever accomplished—the end of all wars. It will vindicate the rightful rulership of earth’s Owner, Jehovah God, over all his creation. The war of Armageddon will cleanse the earth of all corruption and wickedness and open the way for a righteous new system of things under the rule of God’s Messianic Kingdom. (Isaiah 11:4, 5) Instead of being a frightening cataclysmic end, Armageddon will signal a happy beginning for righteous individuals, who will live forever on a paradise earth.—Psalm 37:29. It is the beginning of glorious blessings for all mankind! It is a part of what I'm praying for when I say to God in prayer "Let your kingdom come."

TRUE Christians have a hope that they will receive everlasting life but they know that the wicked and evil within the earth, all immorality will be destroyed at Armageddon. That's such an awesome realization to know that all racists, hatemongers, liars, murderers, thieves, drunkards, greedy persons, men who use the flesh unnaturally, men who lie with men, revilers and anything unclean in the earth will be removed permanently --- for good.

True Christians want to stay alert that they are conducting themselves in an upright manner, obeying Godly standards while not giving into the smut of the world, but Christians do rejoice at the very thought that all wicked, pain and suffering, illnesses and finally death will be removed from the earth for good.

I am aware of Armageddon and I don't "know" I will make it, but I try the best I can and I have a strong hope that Jehovah will not rule me out of the new system once the old has been destroyed.

Great question, but no one knows if they'll make it, but they hope and have faith in Jehovah. God does know; only he knows.

YHWH/Jehovah prepared the earth over eons for mankind, then He made man from the dust of the earth to live eternally without death in that earthly paradise.

satan misled man, but this is not permanent. Just as YHWH removed the wicked from the earth in Noah's day, so shall he remove them once again, but this time He will be restoring mankind to his original intended state as Adam & Eve were
perfect with eternal life in paradise

there is nothing to fear as long as you do not act in a way of which YHWH/Jehovah disapproves. He sent Yhshua/Jesus to show us the Way.

we must follow the example of His only-begotten Son Yhshua/Jesus (1 Peter 2:21; John 13:15; 1 John 2:6) including all the things he taught his Apostles to write for our instruction (2 Timothy 3:16)

Yhshua/Jesus warned that there would be many false christians, claiming to believe in him yet not doing the will of his Father. And that there would only be a few *true* Christians doing the will of his Almighty Father YHWH/Jehovah (see Matthew 7:13-23)

So what did Christ do that we must do in order to be *true* Christians?

1. Pray to and serve "the only true God" (see John 17:3) the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (see Acts 3:13) whose name is YHWH
see also;
Matthew 22:37/Deuteronomy 6:5
Matthew 14:23
Mark 1:35
Mark 6:46
Mark 14:32
Luke 6:12
Matthew 6:9
John 20:17
John 17:1-5
John 5:19
John 14:28
Mark 10:18
Matthew 26:39
John 8:17-18
Mark 13:32
Matthew 20:23
Matthew 3:17

2. love everyone (see Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31) and never harm or kill another human being
see also;
Matthew 5:44-48
Matthew 26:52
Luke 6:27
1 Peter 2:23
1 Peter 3:9
Romans 12:17

3. Preach YHWH's Kingdom which He has appointed His only-begotten Son Yhshua to rule over
see;
Matthew 24:14
Luke 4:43
Luke 10:1-3
Acts 5:42
Acts 8:4
Acts 20:20
1 Corinthians 9:16
Romans 10:15
2 Timothy 4:2-5
Matthew 4:23a
Matthew 9:35a
Luke 9:6a
1 Peter 2:21

4. be "no part of the world" of human kingdoms/governments/politics
see;
John 18:36
Daniel 2:44
Luke 4:5-8
James 4:4
John 15:19
John 17:14
Acts 5:29
1 John 2:15
Romans 12:2
John 14:30
2 Corinthians 4:4
Ephesians 2:2
1 John 5:19

5. Yhshua said that many false christians would be identified because they would not be doing the will of YHWH (Matthew 7:21)
So we must be careful not to mix traditions, rituals and festivals originally designed for false pagan Roman gods into our worship of the only true God.
See (and note that everywhere it says LORD is where Christ‘s Father‘s name YHWH/Jehovah used to be);
Deuteronomy 12:30
Exodus 34:15
Deuteronomy 20:18
Deuteronomy 8:19
Deuteronomy 13:13
Deuteronomy 18:10-13
Deuteronomy 32:16
Judges 2:3
Jeremiah 7:17-20
Acts 7:41-43

naturally, no one would ever follow the above examples of Christ if they did not believe and put faith in the fact that he was sent by his Almighty Father YHWH as our only means of salvation. One must accept and believe and have faith that Yhshua was sent by YHWH as our savior.

agape!

We Christians will be caught up together to be with Jesus Christ before the battle of Armageddon. Praise God. Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

I'm a Christian, i fear Armageddon as i don't know whether or not i'll make it through. But at the same time i'm looking forward to it, because i know that all evil will be destroyed.

Christians have no fear of Armageddon because they will be spared from the wrath. Others do not look forward to it because they either have no belief or they are afraid of the wrath. Those that are afraid are aware of their sinful ways but are not willing to repent. Either that, or they are afraid that they are "too sinful" and would not be relieved of their sin. We all can be, all you have to do is confess and accept the invitation.

They have no fear because they have a clean conscience, They know that they will not be killed and that they will live here on earth. "but with righteousness he shall judge the poor,
and decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked." (Isaiah 11:4) The people who have a guilty conscience and know that they are not giving God their all, are the ones who worry about the coming of Armageddon.

Because we know were we are going when that time comes that why choosing salvation and Jesus Christ is the most important decision any one could make.

Because one day every tongue will confess he is God one day every knee will bow but still the greatest treasure remains for those who gladly choose him now.

For God so loved the world that he gave his ONLY begotten son that who so ever belives in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
