Decorate paper plates with crayons, markers, etc. Then punch a hole and use yarn to hang.
Tape or glue two decorated plates together with rice or dried beans inside to make a shaker. OR use toilet paper or paper towel rolls instead of paper plates.
Take an old t shirt and allow them to use permanent marker to design their own shirt. Use rubbing alcohol to make the colors spread. Be sure to throw in the dryer for 30 mins to set. AND wash separately on first wash.

Old magazines - cut & paste "spring" or "summer" pictures as a collage. Do a vacaton theme, a beach theme, a toys theme, etc. for each collage. My son loved to do this!! Or do a nature walk and glue your leaves, flowers, etc. to construction paper. Have fun!!

Paint or color picture frames. Plant flowers - ones that blossom quickly or that are already in bloom (repotting) - its messy but fun.
