The selective destruction of the wicked by Jehovah. No other war has been conducted between God and "the kings of the Earth." And no other war has been selective to the point that only the wicked are destroyed with no innocent casualties.

Hi there,
Armegeddon will be when the Anti christ summons all the armys of the world to stand against christ and attack israel.
What is different here then any other war is
#1, Christ himself will defend isreal
#2, it is another sign for those in that time, that Christ is truly the victor over satan.
This battle will pave the way for the 1000 year reign with Christ himself!!!!
hope this helps

The Battle of Armageddon is only a figure.
The true battle is one of spiritual proportions that we have been fighting daily.
The only place you can make a case for a literal battle is in the book of Revelation - which by the way is a very figurative book. The laws of interpretation explicitly state that you cannot literally interpret that which is meant to be figurative.

The only "final war of Armageddon" that will happen is if you people work to make it happen and label it as such. So all it will likely accomplish is to give a blank check to arrogance, bigotry and warmongering for those who enjoy it.

All evil will be vanquished by God. Man has tried to destroy evil throughout the ages, but only God can really end it for good, even if it is by using evil.
