Lamentations 3:21-26
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope.
It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.
It is good that a man should both hope * and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

I had one, but now I don't remember what it was. Hmm. But I love Psalm 37, and had Him give me the desires of my heart. So promise fulfilled.
I stil go back to that one, but I also look to the nature of God and claim that too. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not have wants has been something that I've been committed to for a time now.

The following has been on my mind all morning.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Ephesians 6:10-19 (NLT)
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.
And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike.
every day has battles and we must be prepared

I'm not sure what verse it is or where exactly it is at but it states, Rejoice in the day the Lord hath made,I say rejoice!
Something to that extent. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Psalm 118:1 (as well as 29) -
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
------------------
Jaycee... is it 'This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it? If so, that's in Psalm 118 as well as the verse noted above - 118:24.

Life is but a walking shadow. A poor player who struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, but signifying nothing. Wm. Shakespeare

I had a verse of song in my head.
"Who am I to judge another,
When I walk imperfectly?
In the quiet heart is hidden
Sorrow that the eye can't see.
Savior, may I love my brother,
Lord, I would follow thee."
