Hi Christians! I want you to know I have nothing against you and I respect your right to your religious views. Please remember most atheists are actually very nice people who care about humanity.
My question is, imagine that you had been born before the era of Christ. What religion do you think you might have practiced?

Typically people adopt religious beliefs when they are young, and usually they take the lead from their parents and culture.

If you lived before Jesus, you would have lived in a homogeneous culture where you would have been expected to follow the beliefs of your cultural group. I.e., if you were born in India, you would have had little opportunity or encouragement to follow Judaism.

That question really depends on where in the world you were located at the time. Most people would probably say "jewish", however, that might not be the case in some other areas that were still practicing polytheism(the exaltation of many gods). Also, another common misconception about the emergence of Christ is that when Christ was crucified, it wasnt an immediate reaction to have a massive group of followers turn to Christianity. For many years after Christ's death, Christians were simply put to death for admitting to practicing the "cult" religion.

One of the additions to God's word, (a test) would blind many to this point. However I believe Lord (Jesus Christ) was even in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:8). So how does one get a 'before Christ' (John 1:1) era?

I have always sought after the Creator, the One true God that created the heavens and the earth. Thanking Him that He revealed Himself to me through Jesus Christ in this era, otherwise I would have been waiting for Him to come and release me along with the others like He did when He was Resurrected.

That question cannot be in any way REALISTICLY answered by a Christian who's a true believer of Christ. Simply because we were graced to us our salvation by him, and it was not of our own doing but to accept it.

Honestly I could not say just out "for fun" what I think which "religion" I may have been prior to Christ. This is because I have not chosen my current "religion" I have just chosen to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior and understand plus know this as truth.

God gave me a GIFT of salvation as he did everyone else. It's your FREE WILL to ACCEPT that GIFT or not.

Thank you. I know that there are many good and precious people who are Atheists.

Your question: Because I am not Jewish, I would have followed my father's rules. This was done before Judaism. It is call the patriarchal period.

Most Christians are also very nice people who care about humanity. I don't judge people based on their beliefs and appreciate the same courtesy.

I like your question. I believe I would have been a Wiccan. It's a beautiful, Earthy religion that is peaceful and spiritual.

Judaism is the most logical choice since Christ was a Jew.

Judaism if possible. Had I been in that region and had been exposed to it.
Somewhere else, most likely whatever was commonly believed.
But, if you search for the truth, you will find it. And I know it would have been found in Judaism.
