Being christian is a state of mind and there are as many differnt types of christians as there are people. To get back to the lowest concept of christianity it is to be "christ like" If you love your neighbor and do not indescriminately hate people and are generally a good person you are a better christian than most bible thumpers out there.

A real or true Christian has received the gifts of faith and of repentance and has been spiritually quickened to life by the Spirit of God and has the Spirit of God indwelling.

It may take a developing process for this to happen but, passing doubts aside, it is therefore doubtful if you can be if you are uncertain about God's existence.

You say " still a Christian " which may suggest there are other factors not given but on what you have said it would appear doubtful.

One key factor is conviction for your sins.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Seek Him with your whole heart for if you do and continue He promises He will be found of you.

All things are possible with God, however Jesus believed in God and to be a Christian is to do, say, think and believe things in accord with Jesus. He did not dispute the existence or nature of God who was his father. To have doubts about any of these things is to make it more difficult to be a Christian.

Perhaps a look at this web site may help. There is quite a bit of illuminating information, you can request literature or a personal contact.

Ummm- not really. If you don't believe in God the Creator nor in the Savior, Jesus Christ, then you obviously are missing the whole point of what it is to be a Christian. It is a faith-based following of the teachings of Christ. But you also must believe in God and Christ or else you are just being a "good" person. Which being "good" is great - but it won't get you home to heaven, for no man shall be saved by good works alone.

If you need and want to be shown there is a true, one God - then search for Him. And I mean REALLY search for Him - in your heart, alone, in prayer. If you seek you shall find.

Hmm...you're going down the same road many of us have.
At some point, a Christian will wonder this and many other things.
We have this promise from the Bible, that if we do the doctrine, we will know if it's from God or not (forgive the lousy paraphrasing please)
The more yopu learn the word, and actually DO the word, the more you will dispel the doubts. Things will come into focus much more clearly, and you will then KNOW.
Taking God at His word, and acting on it, that is faith. It is not mere belief, it is action taken ON the belief.
It is written " without faith it is impossible to please God."
You could do very well, please do not give up. He hasn't given up on you.

No, you must make a certain decision.
A true Christian is a person who has put his or her faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ and fact that He died on the cross as payment for sins and rose again on the third day to obtain victory over death and to give eternal life to all who believe in Him. John 1:12 tells us: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Christ. The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word (1 John 2:4; 1 John 2:10).

God wants us to trust Him completely and totally—and when we doubt, we aren't trusting Him as we should. The Bible warns that the person who constantly doubts God and fails to trust Him "is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does" (James 1:8).

At the same time, God understands our doubts, and the most important thing I can tell you is that He wants to take them away and increase our faith. Do you remember Thomas, who was one of Jesus' closest disciples? When others told him that Jesus had been raised from the dead after His crucifixion, Thomas refused to believe it. He declared, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it" (John 20:25).

How did Jesus respond? He didn't rebuke Thomas or tell him just to have more faith. Instead, Jesus came to him and showed him that He was alive. The response was immediate: "Thomas said to him, 'My Lord and my God!'" (John 20:28). Tradition says Thomas became an evangelist and preached the Gospel as far as India.

When doubts come, don't let them take root in your soul. Instead, turn them over to Christ. Most of all, saturate your heart and mind every day with the truths of God's Word, the Bible. Satan will try to turn you away, but in Christ "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure" (Hebrews 6:19).

Have you ever been a Christian? Do you know who Christ is? Do you have any idea what he did to save mankind? Have you experienced his love in your life? Do you want him to be your Lord and Saviour? Do you pray to him? Since no-one can approach the almighty, creator God of the universe except through Christ, might I encourage you to start your quest by learning about Christ through reading the Gospel message in the New Testament? He never turns away anyone who genuinely seeks.

If you have asked God to save you from your sins and are born again there is nothing that you can do to lose your salvation but You could be a backslid-den christian. God is the center of Christianity, if have a bible read it if you don't you should get one and see what it says. hope this helped

If you still want to know God, you have a chance. I think that Christians would call that stumbling. Corrective action: Get into the Bible and do not think that you know it all. Do not think that it won't do you any good. Listen to the word of God; 'for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
